Romance's Little Miss Elusive

Lucy, my 10-mo old great dane, is in heat for the first time.  I’ve had an unspayed dog before but this is the first big dog I’ve had go through this.  It’s messy.  I’m soooooo tired of cleaning blood drips off the wood floor.  And her legs.  She hasn’t even noticed her heat.  The living room and bedroom will need to be wet-vac’d when this is done —I’d put a dog-diaper on her but she’s still a pup & she’d just chew it off.  She’s a beauty, even through all this.  I know this isn’t just an acreage-related issue, but those living on land are more likely to own breeding stock.  And if you do, I really hope you have less carpet than I do.  ♥  See Lucy Live on video clip here:  greatdaneplaying
